Donald was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Bay of Pigs Invasion. He moved to Florida in 2001, coming from New Jersey. During his time in New Jersey, Donald retired from Pathmark Supermarkets in Hopelawn, NJ. Donald was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Perth Amboy. He will be remembered by his family friends as being a "Very Strong Willed Man", with a "Heart of Gold". Don was always thinking of others, always a happy man who loved life. He was a fun loving man with a great sense of humor and he brought joy laughter to his family many people. Donald will also be remembered by his children as being the "Greatest Father in the World" and a "Blessing from God". To his wife and childhood sweetheart "He is the Love of my Life".
